Well, I’m not sure what to say. Hanging out with gang members , carrying crack pipes and possessions a knife after a prison stint isn’t a great idea. Although , being homeless isn’t a great situation as well. It sounds like rehab, a halfway house and job skills would benefit these individuals as opposed to putting them in jail.

I agree with you…these guys have a lot of “issues” besides the RSO thing. It just PROVES that the one size fits all approach of the sex offender registry is faulty…it doesn’t work! Each and every case is different and it is so crystal clear that politicians simply want to keep it this way simply to use as a political tool for their own selfish manipulation of voters!

Shame on them!

Politicians are the ones harming children…they create victims…both in creating the illusion that the sex offender is a stranger and that putting a dot on a map will protect anyone – FALSE – and then continuing to illegally punish the “criminal” long after he/she has paid their dept to society!

Cases like these clearly show that as individuals SOME people need to be monitored and some DO NOT. Diluting attention away from those individual who are actually a danger does a disservice to both the victims and those who are trying to get on with their lives!

This must change BUT will the powers that be want to lose their propaganda tool – NO!
